The Case

The legal system in Missouri is not easy to go up against but with help and support from you we would have a stronger fight that’s why we ask that you not only go sign the petition but also share the links with others willing to support  the fight to free Jeryl Daniels. Winning the fight for his freedom would not only send a message of hope to others that are wrongfully convicted but it would also send a message to the Judicial system that changes should be made so that innocent people are not spending life in prison for crimes they didn’t commit.  

Being incarcerated while also battling sickle cell disease makes the punishment of life without parole even more harsh especially if you're innocent. Sickle cell has been another fight for him and the limited resources for prisoners and stress causes more complications. While experiencing the complications that come along with this disease, he has also lost many close relatives during his time in prison including his mother, sister, and brother. He continues to stay positive and keep strong faith that he would come home eventually.  He also continues to work in hospice caring and helping others while fighting his own battles.
